Local 196 Meetings Next meeting tentatively set for April 24th, 2012 at Alberta Teacher's Association. This will most likely be a Demands Setting meeting as we prepare for next years negotiations. Please come prepared with proposals and changes you would like to see in the current collective agreement. Other dates of interest: Provincial Board Meetings for 2012: All Provincial Board Meetings are held at UNA Provincial office. February 22-24th. May 29-June 1st September 11-13th November 20-23 North Central District Meetings: All District meetings are held at Fantasyland Hotel March 2nd June 22nd September 28th December 14th Anyone interested in attending Provincial Board Meetings or North Central District meetings as an observer are always welcomed and encouraged. You would be going on your own time/expense but they are a great learning experience for members who want to get more involved in the union.
